Hallmark Keepsakes Are A Great Gift This Holiday Season!

Gifts That Last A Lifetime.

As I have established before in a previous article, I think that ornament giving is a great tradition to have every year. Ornaments are collectible, are full of meaning and often times fairly inexpensive. Hallmark Gold Crown Stores are a great place to start looking. They have a number of cute and collectible Keepsake Ornaments. You can either shop in the store itself or go online and order your ornaments there. This year I have seen a number of cute and inexpensive ornaments that would make great gifts. Here are a few of the ornaments that are offered at Hallmark's website.

For Disney Keepsakes, we have a Mickey Mouse dressed as Santa, "ringing in the holiday" with a cute little bell and soft cotton beard. He is priced at only $10.00.

Tinkerbell, from Walt Disney's "Peter Pan" sits quietly, reading her book by the light of a tiny pumpkin lantern. Beautifully crafted, and only $15.00. For about $6.00 you can have another Tinkerbell ornament of Tink sitting on a thimble and looking smug.

Pooh bear, from Walt Disney's "Winnie The Pooh", sits and ponders over his freshly written Christmas list. What else should he add?. Pooh is priced at $10.00.

Also from Walt Disney's "Winnie The Pooh" we have a bouncing Tigger, with little Roo hanging from his scarf. These two "bouncing buddies" are priced at $12.50. Pooh and Piglet sit together and enjoy some hot chocolate by candle light in the snow. This cute pair of best friends is priced at $15.00.

From Walt Disney's "Dumbo", we have an adorable Dumbo sitting in his little bath bucket, spraying water in the air with his trunk. I love this ornament. I might get one for myself. Dumbo is priced at $15.00.

Ariel, from Walt Disney's "The Little Mermaid", sits on top of a rock with water splashing up to meet her. She is staring off into the sunset. If you press the bottom of the ornament, you will hear Ariel speak highly of Prince Eric. Ariel is priced at $15.00

Hallmark also has a great selection of "PEANUTS" ornaments. For $10.00 you can get a cute Snoopy as the "Legal Beagle" ornament, holding a briefcase(with Woodstock inside) and a document that says"License To Be Merry". For about $20.00 you can get a set of six "PEANUTS" "Charlie Brown's Christmas" character ornaments. The "Joe Coolest" ornament of Snoopy as a snowman, is only $10.00. For $12.00 you can get a Linus with blanket(Snoopy and Woodstock lying against it) ornament.

In addition to the many Character and inexpensive traditional ornaments ranging in prices from $6.00 to

$34.00, there are a number of ornaments that are based on recent movie releases as well as classic Star Wars movie ornaments. There is a special section called "Magic Ornaments" on the Hallmark website. These ornaments are slightly pricier than the others, but they all move and play music and are truly heartwarming.

Included in that section are "Barbie in the 12 dancing princesses" ornament that has Barbie herself twirling around to music. These are my favorite types of ornaments. Check out Hallmark.com for more information on "Magic Ornaments" and all the other keepsakes.

That is what I am going to do this year. I can't afford new ones right now so I am going to get them on sale after christmas.

These are so collectible! One thing to do (if you don't want to display them this season) is to hit the Hallmark stores after Christmas when they are discounted, sometimes as much as 75%. Good article!

Great Idea, I have a friend that has a new born baby that just loves Mickey Mouse, so does her dad.
