Halloween Horror Nights at Universal Studios
Chucky, The Wolfman and Saw are the three themes selected for the Halloween 2009 event at Universal Studios, Orlando. The theme park transforms into a labyrinth filled with haunted houses, 'scare zones' and hundreds of monsters, ghouls and goblins come out to play on select nights in September and October. Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party for Halloween 2009
If you're traveling to Orlando with kids for Halloween 2009, you can enjoy some family-friendly fun at the Magic Kingdom. Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party is a festive event where kids can go trick-or-treating with their favorite Disney characters, watch the Halloween-themed parade, and see the Happy HalloWishes fireworks show. All guests are encouraged to wear their Halloween costume to the party. The event takes place on select days from September 4 through November 1, 2009 from 7p.m. to midnight. SeaWorld Halloween Spooktacular
Get into the Halloween spirit with Shamu and friends at sea world and you'll be in for a day of trick-or-treating, spooky shows and special exhibits. The event takes place on select days from October 4 through October 31, 2009 and the fun starts at noon each day. The SeaWorld Orlando Halloween Spooktacular is included with park admission. Zoo Boo Bash at the Central Florida Zoo
The Central Florida Zoo hosts the Zoo Boo Bash every year, and for Halloween 2009, the event takes place on October 17, 18, 24, 25 and on Halloween day from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tickets to the party is free with paid Zoo admission, and you'll get the chance to visit the Pumpkin Patch, take a haunted hayride around the zoo, go trick-or-treating and get your face painted. Pumpkin Harvest at Green Meadows Farm
If you want to stay out of theme park territory for Halloween, head over to the Green Meadows Petting Farm in Kissimmee for some traditional Fall festivities. The farm features a pumpkin patch and horse and tractor rides throughout the farm. You can spend the day picking pumpkins and taking a tour of the farm to see over 300 animals and birds. I hope you are ready, because October 31 (Halloween) is going to be a night to remember. Cafe Natura (UCF AREA) is hosting a block party, and you're invited! Festivities kick off at 1 pm and don't stop until 1 am.
There will be live music, free admission, raffles, a bounce house, trick-or-treating, costume contests, activities and food available to people of all ages. While admission is free, all proceeds from food purchases will go to the Animal Safe House of Orlando!
Come out and have some fun! You don't have to stay the entire time, but I'm certain that you will want to!
