Halloween

Halloween to children is about a treat,
lollipops and chocolate just something to eat.

Give out those treats or you'll get tricks,
hear the door bell ring to find a bag of sticks.

Children dressed going up and down the streets,
as porch lights are on to give those treats.

There are clowns, skeletons, and ghost,
some treats given may even be sugar toast.

Some will have Halloween parties to invite,
for children in the costumes this is a fun night.

While walking down the street thinking of being scared,
mom said it's getting late, time to go, she declared.

Wow! as a treat someone gave a kite,
Now it's over for this Halloween night.
