Halloween Acrostic Poem

Jill P. Viers
Halloween comes just once a year

A celebration that brings fun and fear

Loudly screaming and yelling with fright

Laughing and enjoying Halloween night

Opening doors creaking ever so slightly

Wicks and lanterns glowing ever so brightly

Evil spirits looming in the hollows

Eerie costumes inciting gulping and swallows

No more lines to rhyme with...off to hide in the shadows!
