Halloween Activities in and Around the Augusta, Georgia Area

Fall is such a great time of year...the temperature and the humidity drop, leaves begin to change color, fall festivals are in full swing, and Halloween is coming.

What kind of activities go on in your area for Halloween?

Time to Scare Halloween Carnival

This event is FREE for children 12 and under. Come enjoy the haunted house and the carnival games. If you wear your costume, be sure to enter the costume contest.

3rd Annual Halloween Fest

This event is FREE for all. Come enjoy the games, rides, activities and contests for the entire family. At dusk there will be a Halloween movie.

Mistletoe Family Fall Fest

This event costs $7 per vehicle plus $3 parking fee. Come out and enjoy music, pumpkin scavenger hunt, apple bobbing, marshmallow roasting, games, storytelling, and a night hike. Hayrides will be running every half hour as well and the cost is only $2.

Want to take your children somewhere safe to trick-or-treat as well as help those in the community?

Trick or Treat So Others Can Eat
This event costs one canned good per child. All proceeds will be donated to local food banks.

What about just a simple pumpkin patch to pick out the perfect pumpkin with your little one?

Harlem United Methodist Church Pumpkin Patch
The pumpkin patch has pumpkins of all shapes and sizes. Come here for all your fall decorating needs: gourds, corn tassels, wheat bundles, Indian and strawberry corn, corn stalks, and bales of straw.

Corner Pumpkin Patch
This pumpkin patch has a variety of pumpkins in all shapes, sizes, and prices. They encourage you to bring your camera to take your picture in the pumpkin patch complete with all the fall backdrop of bales of straw, beautiful mums, and a scarecrow. All purchases are going to fund missions and community outreach.

What better time of year to tour one of the oldest cemeteries in the area?

Walk with the Spirits
This event costs $15 and reservations are required.
Talk a walk on a haunting history tour of Augusta's historic Magnolia Cemetary. You will get to meet 9 spirits from Augusta's past. Hear about gamblers, generals, doctors, orphans, and the last duel fought at Sand Bar Ferry.

Come out to this event to enjoy a haunted hayride, corn maze, boo house, petting zoo, and a playground.

Corn Maze at Kackleberry Farm

This event costs $11 per person, unless you come after dark then it's $9 for corn maze only.
Come get lost in the maze! This event has a pumpkin patch, hay rides, cow train rides, corn cannon, farm animals, pig races, and more.

This event costs $13 for adults and $11 for children
