Who says Halloween is just for kids? In the Charleston, SC area there's plenty of activities for everyone. Trick or treat is so yesterday! Whether you want to be scared silly or just have a good time check out these howlingly good events. There's something for everyone.

Scarecrows on the Square is in Summerville's town square Oct. 16-31 2007. There will be over fifty scarecrows on display that were created by individuals and businesses in the local community. For more information go to www.visitsummerville.com.

The Summerville Ghost Walk and Harvest Moon Hayride is on October 27th from 5-8pm. There will be hayrides downtown, with music and ghost stories told at certain stops. For more information click on the link above.

Halloween in the Swamp is at Cypress Gardens on October 26-27th. There will be a haunted boat ride and walking trail, campfire and storytelling with a marshmallow roast, a kid's fun house and more. For more information visit www.cypressgardens.info.

The Howl-O-Ween at Boone Hall Plantation will include a haunted house, hayrides and more. Their "Fright Nights" begin towards the end of October and will be open until midnight on the weekends. For more information go to www.boonehallplantation.com.

Fish or Treat takes place at the South Carolina Aquarium on Oct. 20th. There will be a monster mash dance party, ghoulish games, divers "lurking" in the Great Oceans tank, and guests can "fish or treat" throughout the aquarium. Costumes are encouraged! The Haunted Jail Tour is a popular tour in Charleston. On Halloween night they've added extra times so book now in order to ensure a scary good time. For an adult, entertaining and upscale Halloween make your reservations at Oak Steakhouse in downtown Charleston. Not only is Oak Steakhouse one of the finest restaurants in the area, but they also have some spooky plans for Halloween.     I have a handicapped daughter in a wheel chair and we will be in charleston this halloween which is also her 13 th b-day would love to hear about easy to do things here so i can give her a cool 13th!any suggestions
