Babies and Toddlers. The Kiddie Courtyard provides fun activities for very young children. Everything is the right size and intensity for toddlers, from the duck races, where children pump water to race ducks in troughs, to the corn box. There are swings creatively carved from old tires into animal shapes. There is also a Princess area where your little princess can dress up a scarecrow (or herself) and meet Penelope the Pumpkin Princess in a horse-drawn carriage. The Pumpkin Princess Playland also features an inflatable castle for your preschoolers' jumping pleasure. If you're thin, you can take your toddler on the slow-moving cow train if he or she is too young or afraid to go alone.
Preschoolers and Children. Duck races, pedal carts, the cow train and a climbable mountain of slides - there is more than enough activities to burn out your children's energy. The jumping pillow is fun for children - and adults - of all ages. There is a small jumping pillow for preschool children and a giant one for everyone else. There is also an area where children can "mine" for gems - this costs extra.
Older Children, Teenagers and Up. The haunted creature is a giant inflatable creature you can venture into. During the day it is... dark. At night it is "haunted" with spooky creatures to scare you. Cornophobia, nighttime's haunted version of the corn maze, will excite thrill-seeking teenagers and adults. There is also laser tag, pumpkin and corn cannons, and paintball available, all at additional cost.
Of course, there also the corn maze, the haunted corn maze, the kiddie maze, the no-left-turn maze, the color-coded maze, hay rides, and the pumpkin patch. This year's maze is themed after American Idol would-be David Archuleta, so be warned that you will hear David's songs being broadcast over the maze the entire time. The maze has clue boxes and entertaining spinning wheels throughout (to help you decide which direction to take, to confuse you or just to be silly).
Cornbelly's is located at off I-15 at Thanksgiving Point, behind the shops and north of the barn. It is open Monday through Thursday from 4 pm to 10 pm and Friday and Saturday from 10 am to 11 pm. They will be open extended hours during UEA weekend. Haunting begins at 8:00 pm on Mondays, Fridays, and Saturdays. The cost is $10.50 for everyone ages three and up not including haunted attractions. On Mondays, Fridays and Saturdays, tickets that include haunted attractions are $16 for adults and $12 for children 3-11. If you go Tuesday through Thursday, you can stop by Hogi Yogi/Teriyaki Stix to pick up 2 for 1 tickets. Additional coupons are available on the Cornbelly's website.
