Cold, dark nights in the Northwest and North Mountain states make for a great Halloween stage. Below find a list of different types of Halloween venues for some of the states located in the Northwest and North Mountain area of the United States.
Field of Screams
Montana is known for its expanse, but what about its Field of Screams in the town of Victor? In the scaring business for 12 years, this outdoor field with all sorts of spooky attractions, or unattractions, is sure to make your blood curdle. Open October 7- 31, mostly on Thursdays, Fridays and weekends (except for Halloween which is a Monday). Opens at dusk. $8 Kids (12 and under) $10 adults.
Seattle House of Horrors
It is what it is: a house of horrors for those who love to scream. Opening on September 15th. There are also kids Haunts which are during the day and obviously not quite as scary (actually considered "no scare") as well as the "full" haunted house for kids 12 and older. Twenty minutes east and north of Seattle. Tickets for the kids are $3 and parents are free. For the older haunt(s), tickets are $15 and the tour starts at 7pm. Located at Halloween Express at Totem Lake Mall in Kirkland, WA.
The Pumpkin Patch
With an amazing corn maze (check out their aerial view on the website) u-pick produce, an animal barn, hayrides, a cow train and more, this is a fantastic October and Halloween family venue. They also have a cafe' if you get hungry. Located on Sauvie Island in Portland, Oregon. About 15 minutes from downtown.
Halloween Walk
This is some very local, family-friendly fun. Kids can dress up and trick or treat at retail shops in downtown Saratoga, Wyoming. It is safe and fun. October 27th. Call the Saratoga Chamber of Commerce in Carbon country for more information on times. 307-326-8855.
Sexy Halloween Affair
So maybe this one is not so scary, or maybe it could be! Join the party at Sutra Nightclub in Denver on Lincoln Street. Win money for the sexiest and scariest costume contest. There will be a DJ and a lot of sponsor promotions. October 29th. Presale ticket $15.
