Halloween & Christmas Snack Ideas for the Crock Pot

Serve up some of these tasty snacks at your Halloween & Christmas party. You can set these in Halloween and Christmas decorated bowls. These are all quick and easy snack ideas for the crock-pot.

Cheesy Cilantro Rice Dip

1 bag of Uncle Ben's Boil in a bag rice

1- 8 ounce box Velveeta cheese (cut into cubes)

1 Lime

2 Teaspoons Fresh chopped Cilantro

Make rice according to directions and pour into crock-pot. Add the cubes of cheese, cilantro and the juice from ½ of a lime. Stir well and simmer in crock-pot for 2 hours.

Serve with bread cubes and assorted vegetables.

Tomato & Cheese Dip

1 Envelope Lipton Onion Soup
1 Cup Campbell's Tomato juice
4 teaspoons Lemon juice
1 lb Kraft American cheese shredded

Combine all ingredients and place into crock-pot. Mix well. Simmer on low for 2 hours.

Serve with bread cubes and assorted vegetables

Cheese Dip

4 Cups Cheddar Cheese -- grated
1/2 Teaspoons Dry Mustard
1/8 teaspoon Garlic Powder
Dash Tabasco Sauce
1 Tablespoon Cornstarch
2 Tablespoons Cooked Ham -- cubed

Place all ingredients in crock-pot and mix well. Mix well and simmer on low for 2 hours.

Serve with bread cubes and assorted vegetables.

Harvest Cheddar Dip

3/4 c Milk
1 tablespoon French's Dijon mustard
1 teaspoon Onion powder
1/4 teaspoon Salt
1 d Ground black pepper
1/4 cups All-purpose flour
6 oz (1 1/2 cups) shredded sharp cheddar cheese
4 cups Italian bread cut in 1-inch-cubes
4 cups Assorted vegetables, cut in-bite-size Pieces

In a medium saucepan combine until smooth: milk, flour,
mustard, onion powder, salt and black pepper. Cook and stir over medium
heat until mixture thickens and boils; cook and stir one minute longer.
Remove from heat; add cheese; stir until melted. Transfer to crock pot to
keep warm. Serve with bread cubes and assorted vegetables.

Chocolate Fondue

24 ounces semisweet chocolate chips
1-1/4 C. evaporated milk
1/4 C. sugar
2 t. vanilla extract

Place ingredients in crock pot. Cover and cook on high 30 minutes. Stir occasionally. Dip pieces of pound cake, fruit, pretzels, cookies or mini marshmallows.

Easy Chocolate Dip Recipe

1 small carton whipping cream

8 ounces semisweet chocolate

Place whipping cream in crock pot and stir well.

Add chopped chocolate Whisk until smooth and turn crackpot on to low heat for 1 hour. This chocolate dip goes great with bananas, pound cake, strawberries and so much more.

Yo'Plait Yogurt Dip

4 containers Yo'Plait Vanilla Yogurt

1 small carton Whipping Cream

1 package Bird's Eye Sliced Frozen Strawberries (thaw to room temp)

Place whipping cream in a mixing bowl and add in ½ cup sugar. Beat until fluffy.

Add in the yogurt and strawberries and mix well. Place in crock-pot for 20 minutes or just until slightly warm.

This dip goes great with pound cake, bananas, kiwi, strawberries and peaches.
