Candy corn and Jack-o-lanterns are freezing
as the vampires and ghouls do run
the hooprings and afros are wetting
as the Barbie dolls and betties flee
And Mom and Dad can hardly wait for the night to be done
because its looking a lot like Christmas
Even though it's October
Halloween has been passed over, Thanksgiving too
Not a trick-or-treator to sue
Its beginning to look a lot like Christmas
Soon all holidays will merge
It may be insane, but why should I complain
that mother nature is trying to catch up to Wal-Mart.
