Halloween Contest: Scary Story Winner

James Kerley
We are pleased to announce that AC's 2008 Halloween Scary Story Contest was a rousing success. While we were only able to pick one winner, we are honored to have so many well-written and frightening Halloween stories added to our library. A big thank you to all who submitted and scared the wits out of the AC editors. And without further ado...

The winner of Associated Content's 2008 Halloween Scary Story Contest is: The Visitor, by Eloah James. Eloah's story is everything a scary Halloween story should be. Have fun scaring your friends and family on Halloween night with this creepy and suspenseful tale.

We'd also like to give an Honorable Mention to Teresa Scheiderer for her unique horror story, Anti-redemption.

If you're not scared enough yet, check out the rest of the entries. But be warned, you will get a chill down your spine! Again, the editors at AC would like to thank everyone who shared their work with us. This was a really fun, frightening and successful contest! Be sure to check the Fiction feature in the Prose category in the next couple of weeks to see more featured entries.

Congratulations to Eloah, and everyone have a fun, safe and scary Halloween!
