You know who's the coolest reindeer? Dancer. So maybe Dancer isn't quite as famous as that red-nosed one, but you'll have way more fun dressing up as Dancer this Halloween. This costume is simple to prepare and a lot of fun to wear. It's cute, it's memorable and it's a great change from the same old boring Halloween costumes.
The first thing you will need for your Dancer costume is reindeer antlers. If you don't have any at home laying somewhere in your Christmas decoration boxes, then you can easily order them online on a site such as Amazon.
Next, you will need a brown outfit. Most anything brown will do. A simple brown shirt and brown pants or tights will be perfect.
The crowning jewel of your Dancer costume is the tutu. Choose something bright and colorful that honors the fun-loving spirit of this charming reindeer. If you don't want to buy a tutu, you can easily make your own. Start with a piece of elastic that is about one inch smaller than your waist measurement and sew the two ends together. Cut out strips of tulle in your desired colors that measure 6 inches by 36 inches. Attach each piece of tulle to the elastic waistband by folding the tulle strip in half and looping it around the waistband and pulling the two ends back through the fold. Pull tight to secure the tulle to the elastic. Continue adding tulle strips to the elastic until the tutu is full.
Now add a little black painted nose just to be sure people won't confuse you with that other guy.
Voila! You are Dancer! Enjoy your Halloween festivities with this cute and original costume!
