Halloween Costumes for Couples

With Halloween just around the corner a primal fear fills the hearts and minds of millions of Americans. No, it is not the fear of ghouls and goblins, or the haunted houses, or even the fear of dozens of sugar-crazed kids at the door on Halloween night that terrifies them. It is the panicked terror that comes from finding the perfect ensemble for all those costume parties looming on the horizon. And worst of all are the couple themed parties.

For years, it has been difficult to lure that man off of the couch and into a clean shirt to go to a party, but now you are faced with getting your manly man into an actual costume. Never fear, here are a few costumes for couples that are fairly easy to put together, manly enough for your fella, and even a little bit fun.

He-man and She-ra make a fun pair of superheroes. Show a little skin and let him live out his childhood fantasies at the same time.

Go as a magician and his lovely assistant. No, don't go as a corny magician and silly assistant, but the hot illusionist and his total babe assistant. Get him in his black pants and a white shirt ... he can even unbutton a few buttons to make it a little sexier. All you need is an evening dress and you're set. Just remember, a little glitter goes a long way.

Samson and Delilah are the perfect pair for Halloween. With his flowing hair and big muscles and her beauty, you will be the perfect mix of good and evil.

An easy plan is to go as a Redneck and a Country Girl. All you need is a little denim and flannel. Heck, he may not even have to change his shirt.

If your guy loves his flannel and denim, but doesn't want to be a redneck, go as the Logger, and his Little Woman. Once again, he can get away with a flannel shirt and jeans (just be sure to add suspenders), and all you need is a cute little dress, an apron, and an adoring look for your manly man.
