Halloween Hairy Spider Craft Project
Cut off about a quarter of one chenille stem. Take the remaining chenille stem and wrap it around the shorter piece, so that the end sticking out is the same length as the other legs. After wrapping the chenille stem securely so it stays in place, cut it off. Your hairy spider should now have four legs.
Repeat this process until your hairy spider craft has eight legs. Then bend each leg at about a ninety degree angle so that the hairy spider can stand up on her own. Then place your hairy spider and her sisters all over a spider web.
Halloween Spider Web Craft Project
Take three chenille stems of any color. Wrap two of them together at the middle, forming an X. Wrap the third chenille stem in the same manner, making sure that all of the arms are the same length. Tie some thread, yarn or string on one chenille stem, close to the nexus in the middle of the stems. Then wrap it around the chenille stems in a spiral pattern. When you reach the outside of the spider web, tie off the end. Glue your hairy spiders onto the web.
Ideas for How to Use Your Halloween Hairy Spiders
There are lots of ideas for where you can put your Halloween hairy spiders. Here are just a few.
Use them to decorate a pumpkin carving.
At your Halloween party, spread them all over the table where food is being served.
Put them on another Halloween craft you've created, such as a witch craft.
Put the hairy spiders all over your front door on Halloween evening.
Use them to decorate the door of your child's room.
Glue the hairy spiders to small magnets and use them to decorate the refrigerator.
Use them as part of your Halloween costume. If you're going as Spider-man, these little Halloween spider crafts would be the perfect addition to your costume. Or allow a little extra chenille stem while you're making your Halloween spider craft, so that you can make it into a ring. Or give them away as Halloween party favors.
Whatever you do with your fun little hairy spiders, be sure to make lots of them. If you love this Halloween spider craft project, tell your friends about it! Read some more of my Halloween craft project articles:
