Halloween Craft Ideas : Halloween Napkin Rings

Halloween craft ideas seem to be a given when it comes to this holiday. It is one of the holidays where making something out of paper with your kids make the best decorations over ones that would be store bought. If you are looking for Halloween craft ideas to decorate your table check out this project.

Halloween Craft Idea : Halloween Napkin Rings

Scissors

Paper, Fabric, or Ribbon

Glue or tape

Cloth Napkins

Supervise children if using scissors or glue.

Look around your house for items you could use to make the napkin rings. Old plain napkin rings would work, stretch bracelets that would be small enough to fit snug against a cloth napkin, or even the cardboard from the inside of a roll of paper towels cut down to about two inches. Halloween craft ideas can come from anywhere as can the supplies you use for them.

Find old pieces of fabric that you have stuck back, paper from scrapbooking or leftover wrapping paper. Attach the material you have chosen to the ring. Glue will work best and cover the inside of the ring as well so that when slid off the napkin you do not see the unfinished side.

Add embellishments to the ring or keep it simple with just the fabric or paper. Embellishments can be the kind you would purchase for scrapbooks, old Halloween decorations, or you could make your own. Just cutting out a small square of construction paper and adding stickers that say boo will make an impact without a lot of work.

Practice folding the napkin in several different ways when completing your Halloween craft idea. A simple roll may be best or you may want to do a fan shape or any number of different folds to add pizzazz to your table.
