Instructions

Place the Craft Pumpkin in front of you in such a way that you can access it easily from all the sides.
To make the bow measure 4 inch length or roughly half inch less than the height of the pumpkin. Hold the ribbon at this length with your left index finger and thumb. With the right hand start making loops of about one and half inches twist the ribbon and keep holding with your index finger and thumb as you continue. Make 6 such loops. Pass a floral wire at the centre. Twist it leave about two inch wire and cut it. Spread the loops to make a bow like appearance. Refer the picture. Measure the length similar to the one taken at the beginning to work as streamer and cut the ribbon. Your bow is ready.

Craft Pumpkins are made of Foam and therefore are light in weight and easy to work with. Using a craft knife make a little cut in the Craft Pumpkin at one corner near the stem so that the wire can easily go through it. Secure it with Glue. Refer the picture for exact location.

Cut out the maple leaves from the bush with one inch stems attached to it. Gather the leaves in a set of 3-5 and tie them with floral wire. Twist the wire and cover it with floral tape. Make 2-3 such sets of leaves. Make sure you leave around 1-2 inches of wire at the end so that it can go inside the pumpkin really well. Refer the picture and arrange the maple leaves in such a way that it looks even when you look at the pumpkin from any side. It is important specially if you are making the Pumpkin craft as a centerpiece. Secure it with glue. Next step is to insert the Scare crow by making a similar cut using knife and securing it with glue. Once this is done arrange the orange flower as per the picture. Cut it to a size which is lower than the height of Scarecrow. Prepare the fall color bushes by cutting a big bush into smaller stems and individually adding floral wire at their ends to make it easy to push in craft Pumpkin. Secure with glue. Arrange them as per picture. Idea is to fill the space to make it look even from all sides.

Refer the picture to complete the project.

All the materials can be easily obtained from an art and craft supply store near you. I have used materials from Michael's and Wal-mart.

Tips

Look at the finished project from all the sides. If you think it is not even from all sides add more bushes or use it as corner piece. It is not necessary to use same bushes as shown in picture. Use your imagination or choice. You can remove scarecrow if you do not feel like keeping it. Add more fall color flowers.

You can also use natural Maple leaves of various colors instead of artificial.

This Halloween decorate your home with handmade craft. This Pumpkin craft will definitely get you loads of compliments.
