Halloween Frankenstein Puppet Craft Project
What You Will Need
Small paper bag
Construction paper
Scissors
Google eyes
Black marker
Craft glue
First, cut some green construction paper the same size as the bottom of the paper bag. Then cut another piece of green paper so that it covers the rest of the bag, the part which the bottom overlaps when closed. Cut out a small strip of black construction paper. Snip out some triangles from the lower edge so that it looks like messy hair.
Cut a square mouth from red construction paper. Cut out a smaller white square, to indicate teeth. Draw the teeth with the black marker. Cut out two "bolts" from black paper. Glue on all of these features, and add two large google eyes to top off your Halloween Frankenstein puppet craft project.
Ideas for How to Use Your Halloween Frankenstein Craft Project
If you're having a Halloween party, a Frankenstein puppet show would be lots of fun. Create a stage out of a large cardboard box, or make your box into a large cardboard "television set." Create a Dr. Frankenstein puppet, and put together lots of props for your puppet show so that the Dr. Frankenstein puppet can bring his monster puppet to life.
Try adding a Bride of Frankenstein puppet to your show. Make your Frankenstein story a comedy by taking liberties with the original Frankenstein story-line. For example, you could try making the Frankenstein monster puppet a happy-go-lucky, friendly kind of guy. He and the Bride of Frankenstein could get married and have lots of monster kids who get into lots of trouble.
Another idea is to make lots of Frankenstein puppets and give them away as gifts or favors at your Halloween party. A variation of this Frankenstein craft project would make a great trick or treat bag, or lunch bag for your kids to take to school on Halloween day. Instead of making the craft project into a puppet, simply decorate the front of the bag with a funny or scary Frankenstein monster face.
Create a Frankenstein Halloween costume, and take along the Frankenstein puppet as a sidekick.
You can also create a smaller version of this Frankenstein face, attach a magnet and use it to decorate your refrigerator.
Try putting a Frankenstein face on your front door, or tape it up in the window.
