Halloween Crafts Made Simple with These Awesome Self-Adhesive Foam Shapes

Miss Fortune
Finding Halloween themed craft products that can be used by younger kids can be tricky; if you have a more than one child or are working with kids from different age ranges you know that finding things that everyone is going to want to work with is almost impossible. If that's the case then these self-adhesive Halloween themed foam cut-outs are a great thing to get. They are pre-cut, stenciled pieces that have a peel off backing. Simply remove the paper and press the character where you want it.

The assortment that you get with this set is nice; they are colorful but stick with the usually Halloween theme of orange, purple, black and green. The pieces include a smiling candy corn, very happy pumpkin, cheerful purple bat, white ghost holding a "BOO" sign, black cat and a green spider with black accents. These are a little thinner than the foam cut out pieces that are sold in tubs but I do not see that as a con to it; if anything it makes it easier to get them to stick to things that have a curve to them like glass or plastic jars or containers.

You can get these online as well as at stores like Michaels and Jo-Anne Fabrics; the price will vary but the 400 count container usually sells for about four dollars so the cost is about a penny a piece. Given that there are a lot of different characters in this assortment, kids can have a lot of fun with them without having the same thing appear over and over. Use them for greeting cards, trick-or-treat bags, name tags, party invitations and more. These are a one time use item, once you remove the backing and press it on to something it is there for good so please remind kids that these shouldn't go on mirrors, family pets or furniture.
