Halloween Crafts: Salt Dough Decorations, Do It Yourself Halloween Wreath & Ghost Pops

~Salt Dough Decorations~

What you will need:

2 cups of all purpose flour

1 cup of salt

1 cup of water maybe a little less depending on conditions with humidity

Halloween Cookie Cutters

Drinking straw to make holes in shape

colored ribbon

Cookie sheets

Oven

Paints, Acrylic work best for this

rolling pin or large bottle

bowl for mixing

Preheat your oven to 325

Mix your flour, water, and salt in a large bowl kneed until it looks like a dry biscuit dough. Turn out onto a lightly floured surface and roll to 1/4in.

Using your cookie cutters cut out the desired shapes and put onto a cookie sheet using your drinking straw press lightly and make a hole for the ribbon to go through, bake at 325 for 20-30 minutes. Let cool and decorate with acrylic paint. These are a great decoration that the kids will just love to make!

~DIY Halloween Wreath~

What you will need

1 plain willow wreath or you can use foam

1 can of black spray paint

several Halloween colored pipe cleaners (found in craft stores)

hot glue gun

pencil for making shapes

First you will need to spray your wreath with the spray paint and let it dry. After you have let your wreath dry it is time to form words and and spirals (use the pencil to wrap the pipecleaners around for this) You then use your hot glue gun to add these to your wreath. Couldn't be more simple and looks great!! You can even add silk flowers other decorative embellishments to this to make it even more personal.

~ Simply Sweet Ghost Pops~

A box of kleenex or any other brand tissue

Suckers your choice of brand

A Black Marker

White ribbon

Take your sucker and place the tissue over it leaving enough room at the bottom to tie the ribbon on. With the black marker do the dots for eyes nose and then draw the mouth. These are simple and festive the kids will love them!!! You can have the kids take these to school for there Halloween parties etc. They are sure to be a hit!

You can switch the decorations on these up to meet your specific wants and personalize them however you would like.
