To make a ghost wind sock, you will need white constructions paper, white crepe paper, and other basic supplies like a black marker, tape, staples, etc.

Start by cutting a piece of white construction paper so it is about 6 inches tall by 18 inches wide. You may have to tape two pieces of construction paper together to make it wide enough. Then draw a ghost face in the center of the paper. You can draw any kind of face you want. It's best if you use a black marker.

Roll the paper into a tube and secure the tube with a stapler, tape or glue. Then cut long strips of white crepe paper about 8 feet to 10 feet long (you can vary the lengths). Place the center of the strips on top of the tube and attach them with tape or glue to hold them in place. Then just let the ends of the crepe paper hang down. The more strips of crepe paper you add, the fuller your ghost will be.

Make a bunch of ghost wind socks then hang them on your porch or in the trees. They make awesome decorations for a Halloween party or to create a spooky atmosphere for Halloween night. Just remember, these ghost wind socks can't get wet, so they are not a good decoration if it rains.

You can also decorate the inside of your home with ghost wind socks. You can hang them in rooms that have ceiling fans. If you turn the fans on low speed, it will blow the ghosts and they will sway in the breeze.

You can easily turn this craft into witch wind socks. Just use place construction paper for the head and make a long nose and attach it to the face. Then hang black crepe paper and make a pointed hat to add to the head. Now you have a witch wind sock!
