The Haunted Hotel on Market Street

Date: Runs through October 31st. Closed Mondays and Tuesdays with the exception of October 29th and 30th from 7:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.

Here is a great event not to be missed in San Diego if you crave horror films. They are having their annual Haunted Hotel for Halloween with unique effects and nightmares are brought to real life! They gain their inspiration this year from films such as, "Texas Chainsaw Massacre", "Hostel" and "Saw II". You know, the greats. Be prepared to be truly terrified. This is definitely not for the faint of heart.
Maryland Street Nightmare Scare
Location: 4366 to 4388 Maryland Street, San Diego
Date: October 31st
Time: From Dusk to 9:00 p.m.
Price: FREE
Now this sounds interesting and I couldn't find that much information about it. I don't know who's responsible for this but it takes place in the University Heights area and apparently they alter 4 houses into some frightening sights this Halloween. They'll have a funeral parlor, a graveyard and a dragon. This is completely free so you can't go wrong here!
Mira Mesa Monster Manor Night Haunt
Location: 8235 Mira Mesa Boulevard, San Diego
Date: October 12, 13, 19, 20, 26-31
Time: Opens at 7:00 p.m. .
Price: $10.00
This Halloween, volunteers have gotten together to create a haunted event at the Monster Manor for teens to enjoy. There are two events but the one you are looking for is the Night Haunt. They say that nothing is held back here so be on guard. You'll never what who or what you will come across! Note that if you are 13 years or younger, an adult must be present with you.
