This is the place to go for some fun out on Halloween night in Chicago, where you can take your kids for a night of Halloween fun and party, and check out the fun events, this is for those who want to go out with their kids to enjoy Halloween and have safe parties. There are different groups for the shows, there's Demons of the Deep MILD for ages 9 -12 before 8p.m. and Demons of the Deep WILD after 8p.m. They also have a haunted house, and the ghostly garden.
If you have even younger children you may just want to plan a party at home and decorate the whole house with spider welds, or some silly string if you can find any because their sending it over to Iraq now to help out the troops, also you can have pumpkins that you've carved and decorated with a candle light inside of it as well as candle light through the house, invite a few friends, kids over get some scary movies, have some popcorn, make some witches brew, which is really a big pot of soup or stew smoking on the stove, slowly cooking. some hot dogs and decorate them as well, it would be great to make some Carmel apples with or without the nuts, give them some orange punch with marshmallows or, make some orange koolaid, and have some pumpkin pie with marshmallow on top, make some brownies with an orange icing on top, and have a treat-or-treat party, or just take them out for trick -or- treat to show off their costumes and get lots of candy. Or, you could take them to the mall, the Lincolnwood mall where they give out candy,s they can just go in each store in the mall trick-or-treating and receive candy, some other stores still give out candy on Halloween.
There's so many parties happening in the neighborhood and at different places, another place you may want to try is the is at the Daley Plaza in Chicago for Chicagoween where you can take the kids for Halloween fun.
