Inside the secret confines of his abode, he performed unspeakable experiments on wayward travelers, transforming them into human-animal zoomorphs. With his wife, the vampire Lady Cassandra, he hosted heinous feasts, serving the flesh of humans to his ghoulish guests. But at last, one fateful night, a mob of furious vigilantes set the manor ablaze and massacred the Baron and Lady Cassandra. As he perished, Verdun swore to wreak vengeance upon all who trespass upon his lair. The haunted Manor of Verdun has stood vacant for a century, but the Curse of Verdun remains. The spirit of Baron Verdun and descendants of the creatures are said to still inhabit the decaying mansion and disheveled cemetery.
2 ) The VooDoo Bayou - Surrounding the Manor of Verdun's Grounds is the VooDoo Bayou. Thick fog hinders your vision as you attempt to grope your way out. Beware! The Bayou is infested with hostile creatures that terrorize those unfortunate enough to cross their path.
3) The Labyrinth of Terror - The baffling maze holds unknown terrors at every turn. Designed by Lady Cassandra D'Arque herself, who was decapitated by vigilantes a century ago. Her restless spirit inhabits these very walls, seeking revenge on all who trespass.
4) The Trail of Torment - The eminent psychologist, Dr. Lycan was lured to Verdun's lair by reports of scientific breakthroughs. When bitten by the Lady Cassandra, he entered the world of madness and began to assist Baron Verdun with his fiendish experiments. Obsessed with the study of interactive behavior between the zoomorph monsters and human beings, Dr. Lycan set the creatures loose on the grounds of property. Dr. Lycan persists in his studies by luring in unsuspecting humans each year throughout the month of October.
5) The Séance Theatre - Astonishing apparitions! The ancient matriarch of the Verdun family, Granny Lupus, presents her Séance Theatre to the general public. You will be amazed by the physical manifestations of the spirits that dwell in the Baron's estate. Behold a breathtaking display of disembodied entities and preternatural phantoms... Post a CommentVisit DFW's Moxley Manor Haunted House. Our 2010 haunted house received rave review and it only gets better. We are also open on for Christmas, Valentine's and Friday the 13th. Visit http://moxleymanor.com for more details.
Boneyard the world's longest haunted house? Hardly. Cutting Edge's show is much longer, larger, and better quality. Oddly enough, I saw effects and scares at Boneyard that The Edge had done way before Bore-Yard even thought about getting into haunted houses. Guiness made a huge error.
