Tennessee's largest indoor haunted house is the Death Row- Sanitarium of Slaughter. Brace yourself before making a visit to this asylum. It is much more than a mere haunted house. It is a whole haunted experience that is not soon forgotten. Special guests appear each year such as 2007's John Dugan (Grandpa from Texas Chainsaw Massacre) as well as as well as Clayton Hill and Sharron Caccatti who were original zombies in Dawn of the Dead!
Have your picture taken with Hannibal Lector, Michael Myers or Leatherface after you tour the haunted sanitarium complete with every spine-tingling maniac imaginable. This place is definitely not for the faint of heart. Located at 418 Harding Industrial Drive, they are open every weekend through October.
Nashville's longest running haunted attraction is the Slaughterhouse. Running since 1986, the haunted attraction at 423 6th Avenue South is full tilt terrifying. Room after room of horror await the victims of Slaughterhouse complete with chainsaw tyrants, cannibals and other demonic persona's.
There is a reason Slaughterhouse has been around so long and its called "quality"! Come see for yourself but be prepared! Open every weekend in October and the first of November.
The Trail of Fears is fun for all ages. Found at 4100 Old Hillsboro Road in Historical Leaper's Fork, the atmosphere is more family oriented. Not to say that you wont get a good scare or two but the kiddies are welcome to tour the woods as well. $5.00-Adult / $3.00 Child 6-12 Open Fridays & Saturdays Oct. 12,13,19,20,26 & 27. Gates open 7pm Tours start at 8pm.
