Halloween in Lynn, Massachusetts

Jendayi
Lynn is a small town just 30 minutes North of Boston. It's on the North Shore, right near the ocean. Lynn is holding its annual Halloween Central Scare celebration from 5-8 p.m. October 29.

Central Scare will feature a kid friendly Haunted House. If your child is a thrill seeker then he will love walking down the dark, black light lit spooky halls while being spooked by witches, goblins, and monsters. Even though the haunted house is kid friendly, I would recommend it for children aged 5 and up. I only say this because it is a bit dark and ghoulish however, if you know that your child is up for the scares then enjoy the haunted house. The Haunted House is usually free of charge but this year children will be charged $1 each to enter it. Parents can enter the house for free. The money made from the Haunted House will go in to fixing up Lynn Woods' Stone Tower. The Haunted House will be up and running in Central Square Lynn from 5-7pm.

From 5-7pm there will be a pumpkin contest in Central Square (Lynn) which individuals can enter in and win prizes. Bring your best looking, carved pumpkin down for a chance to win. Winners will be picked at 7:00pm.

There will also be mask making for the children at the Lynn Arts located at 25 Exchange street, Lynn, MA. Lastly, The Devena Theatre Company will present "Creepy Legends, Curses and Hauntings of New England at the Lynn Museum (590 Washington Street Lynn, MA) from 6:30-7:30pm.Come and enjoy ghoulish storytelling for the children.

Kids will also get a bag of treats and tricks.

Central Scare takes place right in the center of Lynn in Lynn Central Square. The annual Halloween event is a great way to see the neighbors of Lynn, MA and to get a glimpse at some of the creative costumes. There is an ice cream parlor and Dunkin donuts located right in Central Square. Pizza companies often come out and sell slices of their yummy pizza for a decent price, and vendors come out to sell snacks and drinks. Caruso's pizza (which sells pizza, subs, pastas etc..) is located just 10 minutes from central square If you are looking for easy fun night out with the children stop by Central square (Lynn) and have a scare.

Central Square Lynn is located right near commuter rail and bus lines and is relatively easy to get to. Below I will attach a link for directions on how to get to Central Square Lynn, Massachusetts.
