An older classic, this movie is a must watch for the younger ones.

For those slightly older children who are past the "baby" movies, yet not ready for the scarier ones. Rated PG for a few scary scenes and language.

CASPER-1995

Truly, any one of the Casper movies and cartoons would be ideal for kids this Halloween.

CORPSE BRIDE

Aimed more at the school-aged children, I know mine liked this one.

THE HAUNTED MANSION

A definite watch for the entire family.

GOOSEBUMP MOVIES

Based on the childrens book series, not recommended for those under 9.

THE NIGHTMARE BEFORE CHRISTMAS

Some of the scenes are not appropriate for younger children, still a scary enough movie for the older ones.

THE MONSTER HOUSE

Good for kids that want a little scare, just watch the younger ones. Even I jumped at a few scenes.

THE ORIGINAL SCOOBY DOO MOVIES

This one had to be added to the list, however there were too many to add here. I don't like the newer two movies, as the comedy in them is aimed more at adults then the children. The older cartoon movies are perfect for a good scare, with enough funny scenes to keep them laughing.

POOH'S HEFFALUMP HALLOWEEN MOVIE

A perfect Halloween watch for those younger children, Pooh is an all time classic.
