Carnival of Curiosities
The Carnival of Curiosities in a kid-friendly scare-free sideshow that runs from October 9 - 31, 2010. The walk-around theatrical event is open on Saturdays (noon - 9:00 p.m.) and Sundays (1:00 - 6:00 p.m.) and on Columbus Day Monday (October 11 - 1:00 - 6:00 p.m.) ).
Fear Haunted House
The Fear Haunted House is open October 8 - October 31, 2010, Thursdays through Sundays. The haunted house can be frightening for children at night,so younger children can attend during the day for low-scare fun with the lights left on. Night shows are conducted in the dark and are reserved for teenagers and adults.
The Fear Haunted House website cautions that the haunted house is not kid-friendly. Navy Fear used to have a kid-friendly haunted house, Navy Fear, but that attraction no longer exists.
The family-friendly, lights-on experience is on Saturdays and Sundays only (11:00 am.m - 5:00 p.m.). The show is also open on Columbus Day Monday, October 11 (11:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.) Tickets for the day hours are $10.00.
The more frightening night shows are on Thursday-Sunday, starting at 6:00 p.m. the attraction is also open on Halloween week Wednesday, October 27 (6:00 - 10:00 p.m.)
Halloween Weekend Treat Giveaway and Patch's Holloween Party
In addition to the Carnival of Curiosities and Fear Haunted House, Navy Pier is offering special events on Halloween Weekend. On Friday, October 29 (noon - 6:00 p.m.) Navy Pier is holding a treat -giveaway for kids who come to the pier in Halloween costumes.
Patch's Halloween Party is on Sunday, October 31, 2010 from noon to 4:00 p.m. in the crystal Gardens of Navy Pier. Patch, the mascot dog of Navy Pier, hosts a Halloween parts along with his Carnival of Curiosities characters. Patch's party is a fright free experience and is perfect for kids aged 2-7.

Post a CommentI love the Navy Pier. I have been there once and really enjoyed it. Halloween is one of my favorite holidays and I would love to spend it at the Navy Pier. I had no idea there were Halloween events at the Pier. It sounds like a splendid celebration!
