crunching leaves, laughter, doorbell,
shouts of "Trick or Treat!"

Post a CommentI'm a bit late to this one, but I always look for poems when I stop by a new page. This was really good!
I love Haiku, both reading and writing it. This one was nice!

Cute! I love the poem and the picture. Happy Halloween! It'll be here soon! :)
Loved it, very happy and friendly little Halloween haiku not dark like mine and some others.
Call me dumb, but how do you say Haiku? I'm not familiar with the term. I liked yours( poem). I noticed your comment on Wendy Dawns large breed article and found you quite humorous. I'm a new fan.
I like how the first and third lines rhyme--not often seen in haiku, but it flows naturally here. Really paints the trick-or-treating scene!
This one is really cute. I can picture the trick-or-treaters running up to my house. It won't be long and they'll be here.
