List of Materials - 1 box of facial tissues (e.g. Kleenex), 1 bag of Tootsie Pops, 1 roll of yarn, 1 fine point black marker and scissors. Adjust these numbers depending on the number of children attending and the number of colors of markers and yarn you want.
Directions - Please follow the links to pictures of each step. Be sure to have plenty of materials that are ready to go when the party begins. Click here for an image of the materials you will need.
Step 1 - Cut several 3-4 inch pieces of yarn from the roll or rolls. A combination of orange and black thread looks nice. Click here for an image.
Step 2 - Place a piece of tissue paper over a Tootsie Pop. Click here for an image.
Step 3 - Tie a bow or knot around the paper and 'neck' of the candy on the stick. Click here for an image.
Step 4 - Draw a scary ghost face on the 'head' of the ghost. Click here for an image.
Repeat as needed.
That's all there is to it! This is a very good craft idea for a night when attention spans won't be too high. You can make additional ghosts to hand out to trick-or-treaters if you wish.
