Earlier tonight.
I saw so many scary things
It gave me such a fright.
Witches, monsters, scary ghosts,
A vampire close behind.
And now that I am home in bed
Imagine what I find -
A monster in my closet!
And one below my bed -
And if I dare to close my eyes,
They might bite off my head!
I see their beady little eyes,
I hear their panting breath.
I think I hear them drooling,
I fear I'm close to death.
I can not take it anymore
Turn on the lights to see -
The kitty's in the closet!
And puppy's underneath.
Now I'm not frightened anymore
I'm comfy as can be
With all the little monsters
Tucked in safe with me.
