Ingredients:
Ice
2 Cups of Vanilla Ice Cream
1 Cup of Cream Soda (optional)
1 Cup of Strawberries
1 Cup of Raspberries
1 Banana Cut into pieces
Gummy Worms or Bugs
All of the ingredients can be found at your local grocery store, and don't be afraid to be creative. Don't like vanilla ice cream? Then use an ice cream that you like, or even better try using sherbet or yogurt. And as you change your ingredients don't forget to taste them before serving them, because you don't want to serve something that your guest won't like.
Step 1 - Blend your Ice Cream and fruit together in a blender with some ice. Now you are welcome to add any other fruits that you like to this recipe. Once everything is added to the blender, make sure you blend it long enough for everything to mix, but you don't want your mixture to be watery.
Step 2 - Add a few of your Gummy Worms or Bugs to your cups (preferably clear) for decoration inside of your cups.
Step 3 - Pour your smoothie mixture into the cups and decorate the rim of the cups with Gummy Worms and you may want to include some Gummy Bugs on top. Be creative with your gummy treats and have fun watching the faces of your guest.
Serving
You may want to do this as your guest requests one, but if you don't have the time to do that then you might want to prepare them and stick them in the freezer until you are ready to serve them. But keep an eye on them and don't let them get too hard.
If you don't want to put the Gummy Worms or Bugs in the smoothies, then the next best thing would be to put your candy in ice cubes and put the ice in your smoothies. Could you imagine someone's face when they discover there are bugs in their ice cubes? That would be too funny.
Keep in mind that smoothies can often be used as a filler or just to hold your guest until your main entrée is cooked and ready to serve.
