Halloween School Party Ideas

Cherie Bowser
As Halloween approaches and school starting, many teachers and room parents are going to be planning a school Halloween party. The best way to have a school Halloween party is to set up your classroom into four different stations and divide the children into four groups. You will need to set a time limit for the stations and have each group rotate from station to station. You can have as many stations as you would like depending on how much time you have for each child to get through all the stations. Here is an example of a great Halloween school party for children.

station number two: Halloween craft activity for children at school
station number three: Halloween coloring activity for children at school
station number four: Halloween treat table for children at school

For station number one and two, decide on a Halloween craft activity for each station that you think the children at school would like. A great website to visit for Halloween craft ideas is the Enchanted Learning website. They have many Halloween crafts for children to make to celebrate the Halloween season. The website offers many free craft ideas that you can use. The Enchanted Learning website offers many more craft activities when you join for only $20.00 for one full year for a single person, a family or a single-teacher subscription. Here are some great craft ideas for your halloween craft activities for the children at school from the Enchanted Learning website. For station number three, you can choose a coloring activity. The Coloring Book Fun website has many Halloween coloring pages to print for free. For station number 4, have the children decorate their own Halloween cupcakes. Give the children already made cupcakes, but not iced. Purchase prepackaged white frosting as well as orange and black food coloring to make them Halloween colors. Have the children frost and decorate their own cupcakes with edible decorations such as cats, ghosts, pumpkins, and black and orange sprinkles. You can find many Halloween edible decorations on the candy land crafts website. Next, mix the food coloring in the white frosting. Have the children put their own frosting on their cupcakes and they can decorate their own Halloween cupcake with edible Halloween decorations or sprinkles.

Halloween school parties can be a lot of fun and it makes it easy to have different stations. The teacher or room parent can ask for parent volunteers to help with each station.
