Halloween Songs To Party To!

Get Your Sheets, Cloaks and Fangs!

I remember while I was growing up, how I loved to plan Halloween parties. Here are my top 10, all-time favorite Halloween songs, I like to play them for Halloween Parties and when my Trick or Treaters are coming up for candy... If they DARE!

Here's the Count (Dracula) down..... and ah von, and ah two and ah tree:

#10: Theme from Phantom of the Opera; This song helps me imagine the finished product of my decorating, when everything finally comes together!

# 9: Fantasia; All the interesting music and sounds really inspire my decorating efforts.

# 8: Tubular Bells part 1, Theme from the Exorcist; When added to ghouls and ghosts hanging in trees and passageways, along with bats and black lights. It really gets you wondering what you'll run into next.

# 7: The Theme from Disney's Haunted Mansion; I really love this song and movie, it helps me set the scene for my indoor Halloween decorations. I like to put creepy, clingy spider webs in the corners of my living room or family room and hang lots of different looking spiders on them and on dangling
strands from the ceiling.

# 6: Theme from Harry Potter; I'm a fervent Harry Potter fan, I always associate Halloween with this music. I can just picture all the Wizards
and Witches concocting their potions and casting spells! I'd love to join them!

# 5: Ghost Busters: What a way to catch the attention of Trick or Treaters or to entertain the kids between stops at houses for treats! We always like to play this one in the car.

# 4: Werewolves of London; What better way to encourage your party guys and ghouls to dance.

# 3: I Put a Spell on You; One of the best Halloween Party dance tunes, also makes you wonder if in fact, Ms Bette Middler can put you under a party spell!

# 2: The Monster Mash; This has got to be my all time favorite party or trick or treating tune, its great for all ages and really inspires my costume creations and graveyard ghouls!

# 1: Thriller; This Michael Jackson tune is the Greatest, it has all the creepy elements needed to start Halloween time fun.

All of these songs seem to help put me into the Halloween spirit, for decorating inside and out, and for dressing up the kids and adults. I hope you can feel the Spell they seem to cast in the wonderfully, creepy Halloween month of October!
