Here's a new gag. Make it seem as if you are bleeding when cut. There is a way to do this without hurting yourself or others.
You will need the following:
Two glasses
Water
Potassium thiocyanate
Ferric nitrate
A dull or fake knife
How to do it:
Fill each glass with water.
Add potassium thiocyanate to one glass of water. Shake the solution well.
To the other glass of water, add about a spoonful of ferric nitrate. Shake the solution well.
Pour the potassium thiocyanate solution onto the part of the body where you want it to look as if blood were appearing when "cut." Let the solution drip a little, but also rub it. It should not be in a perfectly clean patch, but it should also be allowed to drip as blood would drip when the skin is cut.
Now, dip the knife into the ferric nitrate solution. Make sure to cover the blade of the knife well. Gently rub the knife against the skin. The two solutions will react to make it look like blood is dripping.
The potassium thiocyanate solution can be applied to different parts of the body to make different "cuts" appear. Be careful to not scare people too badly, but also have fun with this nifty trick.

WARNING:
Children should be supervised in making and using this solution. Only adults should go to buy these different chemicals. Children should not be allowed to use knives, dull or sharp. Be certain to make sure the knife used has only a dull blade or is a fake knife. It is important to take caution to make sure nobody is hurt with a sharp knife.
