As if there wasn't already enough going on in TV for fall 2010, the small screen is going to be invaded by zombies, ghosts, and a transsexual from Transylvania. The Walking Dead - If you're planning a house party on Halloween night this year, don't miss one of the biggest TV specials of fall 2010. The buzz that AMC's new series is creating could prove that the reign of the lovelorn, sparkly walking dead is over, as the frightful, gray-fleshed army of the undead invade the small screen for an epic zombie apocalypse. Check out the trailer for the 90-minute first episode here, and be sure to put your plans for Halloween hijinks on hold for a bit to catch one of the biggest Halloween specials of the year on October 31, 2010.

Glee Rocky Horror Picture Show Episode - 'Glee' fans have got to love this. In another of the biggest October specials of 2010, the girls and boys will be transforming themselves into our favorite cross dresser from another planet, Riff Raff, Rocky Horror, and Brad and Janet for an episode set to air around Halloween. No word on who will be playing which characters yet, something that will probably stay a secret as long as possible. But the cast and creators better beware: there are a lot of hardcore Rocky Horror fans out there, and fumbling with one of the most anticipated Halloween specials of 2010 might turn into a real horror show.

Ugly Americans - When it comes to Halloween specials, this Comedy Central series doesn't really need one for its October 2010 season. Why? Because every episode is packed with vampires, werewolves, monsters, zombies, and a number of other creepy creatures trying to get along with one another in an alternate version of NYC. There's a demon babe who turns out to be 'Rosemary's Baby' all grown up; a zombie roommate; parodies of Edward and Bella (complete with all her awkwardness); and a self-obsessed magician who bears a striking resemblance to Criss Angel. So start watching the show when its new season begins on October 6, and don't miss what could be one of the best Halloween TV specials of 2010 when the episode closest to the holiday airs.

Community Halloween Special - This is one of the upcoming Halloween specials of 2010 that there are very few details on as of yet, but, as Digital Spy reveals, actor Joel McHale teased that the upcoming Halloween-themed episode of 'Community' will feature lots of zombies (at least 2,000). So why would there be so many zombies roaming around a community college? My best guess is that Abed is making a horror movie, but I can't wait to see where this one goes (it sounds like it could be more epic than the paintball episode).

Syfy Halloween TV Specials - Well, I'm just guessing Syfy will be airing another 'Ghost Hunters' Halloween special, but I can't find any info on that just yet. However, the network will have plenty of Halloween-themed programming to watch throughout the month of October, as well as one original horror movie to kick things off at the end of September. 'Sharktopus' will use it's teeth and tentacles to bring terror to your TV on September 25th with a beast that will make piranhas look like puppies and Syfy will also be airing another original horror movie a little closer to Halloween on October 9th, 'Monsterwolf'. The movie is about an oil drilling crew that releases a Native American animal spirit attempting to protect its land. Another show that feels like it's made up of Halloween specials, 'Scare Tactics', also begins a new season on October 4, 2010, so don't miss the treat of trickster Tracy Morgan hosting a show full of horror hoaxes.

So for this Halloween, who needs tricks or treats when you've got TV?
