Halloween Wedding Reception Table Decoration Ideas
Deep orange damask printed tablecloths look very elegant when paired with black tablecloth runners and black cloth napkins folded in matching orange napkin rings. One centerpiece idea is to simply place black beaded candelabras at each table on top of scattered black rose petals. Such petals can be found at many craft and hobby stores. Tables could also be decorated with miniature jack-o-lanterns or pumpkins containing small tea light candles, or floral centerpieces using flowers in autumnal hues (burgundy, orange, yellow, and red). Serve drinks in gothic looking goblets. The fun thing about a Halloween wedding is that there are so many holiday themed decorations available that could be used to create centerpieces, such as cauldrons, tombstones, ravens, and skull candle holders. Decorate other areas of the reception with black and orange feather or rose wreaths and orange and black paper lanterns. Drape feather boas, strands of lights, or spider webs along staircases and ceiling beams.
Halloween Wedding Reception Favor Ideas
Miniature wine goblet place holders like these from Favor Ideas can be enjoyed by guests after the ceremony as photo holders. Caramel apples, a Halloween favorite, can be covered in candy, peanuts, and decorated as shown here at Divine Dinner Party. After you've dressed up your caramel apples, wrap them in plain or Halloween cellophane and tie with a black ribbon. Martha Stewart has a vast collection of easy to make and fun looking Halloween treats, such as orange flavored black lollipops encasing candy corn. Other Halloween treats that could be wrapped and given as favors are orange brownie bites and cookies shaped like ghosts, monsters, or other ghouls. Candy bars or candy buffets are also a popular trend for weddings. Have a table set up with various colorful candies that guests can pour into their own "trick or treat" bags. Place a cauldron with dry ice for a foggy effect along with the other spooky decorations on the candy buffet, but make sure someone is watching out for any small children who might decide to investigate the cauldron.
