Halo 3 (Micosoft) What a Joke!

The day was September 25th and I was shopping in the mall. It was the usual quite night at the Michigan State mall, when I noticed a group of teenagers approaching the game store. They had CHAIRS and food with them. At first I didn't realize what was going on and I kept on going. However after another 30 minutes I saw this guy with a shirts saying " HALO IS HERE". Finally I came to the realization that Halo 3 was coming out tonight. Passing again by the store, I witnessed something amazing. A huge line waiting in front of the game store, waiting for Halo 3 release at 00:00. I was surprised but not shocked, because I have herd that this game will be the biggest release of the year. I personally felt sorry for the guys that were waiting in front of the store, for hours just to get the game. Everybody holding to their receipt which proved that the person has pre ordered the game. So I go home and I see that my roommate has bought the game too. So I decided to take a look at the game to see what is the big hype about. I played and I have to say that this game is pretty good, however it cannot compare to the classics in the video game industry.

However, the big hype about the game wasn't making me mad. What was making me mad is the fact that so many people bought this game and the winner in the situation is Microsoft. On the box of Halo 3 says "X BOX LIVE FREE TRIAL 48 HOURS". What a joke!? 48 hours in which you can use the LIVE and after that of course you will have to pay in order to play Halo 3 with other gamers on-line. A perfectly executed marketing strategy by the creators of Halo and Microsoft cost the regular people tons of money. Maybe we should talk about the "Special Edition" Halo 3 , which had included a whole HELMET inside the black box. As Borat says: Great Success...NOT!

Don't get me wrong, this game is good and I enjoy playing it, however the SCAM which Microsoft is trying to execute on the regular people makes me never want to buy the game.

As for those players that are playing Halo 3 non stop I wish them good luck and have fun with it, however never forget the fact that your money could be spend for some other things, like girls,cars and clubs.
