This matchmaking system has around seven different game types that can be played at different times. Each of these game types requires a different type of skill and can even have different number of teammates on your team in each game type. Some of these game types include MLG, Team Snipers, and even team slayer. When you play Halo 3 on Xbox Live you can customize your gamertag which gives you a unique identity when you play online. My gamertag is Muffeon. Each person has a specific skill level for each and every game type.
Each person has a skill level for each game type because some people are good at one game type, but not necessarily good at another game type. Skill levels range from level one all the way up to level fifty which is extremely difficult to get. I myself have a skill level of 47 in team snipers. This matchmaking system is extremely useful because it ensures that you will have an extremely even match every time you go into matchmaking. The social aspect of matchmaking is also something that many people love.
When you play Halo 3 on Xbox Live you can wear a microphone as well as a headset which allows you to speak with other players. The best part about this is that after you get a nice kill you can talk smack to other players! It also allows you to communicate with other players and develop strategies on how you are going to win.
There are several different types of game types in Halo 3. My favorite game type is capture the flag because it is fast pace and requires a large amount of strategy. The game type team slayer is extremely fast paced because the first team to get fifty kills wins. I would highly recommend purchasing this game because of its astounding multiplayer community.
