Wash your cucumbers. Slice the width of your pickle and pack in pinto or quart size jars with dill and onion.
Brine
1 c. sugar
1 tsp. salt
1 c. vinegar
Mix all Brine ingredients and bring to a boil, then pour hot brine over the pickles and seal with lid and rim.
Put in hot water bath for 35 minutes.
