One easy way to spend less is by create meals that are budget friendly. One of the most budget friendly recipes is one that involves hamburger. So let me share some of my favorite budget-friendly hamburger recipes.

The first recipe is similar to the tin-foil dinners that you would eat while camping, only this taste so much better.

Tin-Foil Casserole

1.5 lbs of hamburger

½ onion sliced

2 c sliced carrots

2 c sliced potatoes

1 can cream of chicken soup

1 can of tomato soup

Take a 9x13 pan and push the hamburger evenly in the bottom. Then salt and pepper to taste and add the onions on top. Then lay out the carrots and the potatoes on top of the carrots. In another bowl mix the two cans of soup together until smooth. Pour the soup over the potatoes and cover with foil. Cook at 350 for 1 hour or 225 for 2 hours. You can also do this in the crock pot on low for 7-8 hours.

Do you need another hamburger recipe to keep you going. Then here is a tasty and simple meatloaf you can make.

Meatloaf

2 lbs of hamburger

1 11oz can of evaporated milk

¼ c parmesan cheese

1 Tbsp of garlic powder

1 ½ c of dry bread (either cut into ½" cubes or just powder works)

Combine all of this in a bowl until well blended. Then put in the oven for 2 hours at 300. This meatloaf goes really well with whipped potatoes and a vegetable.
