Hamilton Beach 6-Speed Hand Mixer; Consumer Product Review

A Michael Graves Design (Target)

Janet Roof
Cooking and baking are two of my favorite physical activities and the Hamilton Beach 6-speed hand mixer helps to make all my recipes ribbon winners.

September through May I bake up a storm filling any snack tins I can get my hands on, filling zipper bags and taking up almost all the room in my refrigerator with candy and baked goods.

Every few months my hand mixer burns out and I'm off to the store to shop for a new one. Once I bought a hand mixer and it didn't even last long enough to mix up one batch of cookies.

Then I found the Hamilton Beach hand mixer, it is from the Michael Graves Design available exclusively through Target. This hand mixer is like no other.

The mixer has a great clear storage case that holds all the attachments that come with it and snaps on to the bottom of the mixer keeping everything at your fingertips.

Hamilton Beach has pulled out all the stops with this wonderful hand mixer,

Model # 62300 the box comes complete with 1 hand mixer, 2 wire beaters, 1 whisk attachment, 1 milkshake attachment and a snap on storage case.

The whisk attachment on this mixer is great for whipping up scrambled eggs, pancake and waffle batters, you combine it and this machine can mix it for you.

The hand mixer milkshake attachment is awesome, not only for creamy milkshakes but for fruit smoothies and even whipped cream. Hamilton Beach has left out all the stops on this little baby.

This amazing hand mixer from Hamilton Beach even has a hideaway compartment for cord storage so discrete at first I thought they forgot to put the cord in the box until I inspected it more carefully.

Hamilton Beach has muscled up their hand mixers power with a whopping 290-watt peak motor. This mixer provides a special slower first speed setting that is great for spinning sugar, an option not available on any hand mixer I have ever used.

There is also a power burst button on the mixer that will give you a burst of power whenever you need it. I like to use it when I forget to add something to the recipe.

The bottom of this hand mixer has a wavy bowl rest design that is great for keeping the pressure off your wrist, great for those recipes with a longer mixing time.

I'm a big cookie maker, mixing up a double batch is the only way to bake. This resilient hand mixer can hold it own. Cookie dough is very thick and can burn out a hand mixer motor quickly if you use it a lot, but not this 6-speed hand mixer from Hamilton Beach.

This mixer can take a beating and trust me, I abuse all my kitchen appliances equally, and Hamilton Beach is touch enough to take it. It is presently my favorite tool in the kitchen.

I would recommend the Hamilton Beach 6-speed Michael Graves Design hand mixer to everyone who bakes or needs to purchase a new hand mixer, this mixer rocks.

I know what you mean about hand mixers- they wear out fast. Next time I need a new one, I'm going to look into this one. Thanks!
