Hand Holding

A Love Poem

Bridgitte Williams

I felt it coming...

Lovely warm hand holding.

Your hand held in mine.

To stay there for all of time.

We were young, but we knew.

This was pure emotion so true.

Our eyes met.

Starry gazes set.

To last for all of time.

Your hand in mine.

Hand holding.

Love golden.

They all laughed.

Our love did last.

For fifty years now.

We have kept our vow.

And in heaven.

We will still be dancing.

Hand holding.

Our love has spoken

So romantic my friend. I heard a marriage counselor once say that when you begin arguing, hold hands. Its hard to argue when you are doing this. I believe he was right.
