To make handmade Easter cards gather some of the following supplies:
Paper: Cardstock paper, construction paper, or blank greeting cards
Decorative Elements: Easter and spring stamps, construction paper, foam craft sheets or pre-cut designs, small beads, spring and Easter stickers, spring fabrics
Tools and other supplies: Stencils, decorative edged scissors, pencil, colored pencils, double sided tape, hot glue, glue pen, pastel ribbon, raffia ribbon
Step-by-Step Instructions to Make Easter Greeting Card
Center and fold the card paper in half. To create a more dramatic looking card, measure ½" along the right edge of the card. Cut away ½" on the right edge.
If you are using plain paper or construction paper, use decorative elements to add flare to your handmade Easter card.
Ideas for Adding Decorative Elements to Your Handmade Easter Card
Line the inside and outside of the card with contrasting or complementary spring colors. For example use pink on the outside, and purple on the inside. Create contrast by using pastel orange or blue on the outside and yellow on the inside. The important thing is to keep the card color light. Reflect the color and feel of spring.
A glue stick is the best way to attach large pieces.
Use design edged scissors and multiple pieces, colors, and designs of paper to line the handmade Easter card. Use your special scissors to cut flowers or eggs with decorative edges. Add them to your handmade card.
Cut out pieces may be attached with glue or double sided tape.
Make your card pop by placing eggs within eggs. Use each egg to frame the next smaller size. The smallest egg can be small egg stickers.
Use hot glue to attach tiny beads around the edges of card cut-outs or use the beads to add other decorative elements.
Ribbon, raffia, and stamps can also be used in pastel colors to add interest to your card. Your handmade Easter card can also be accented with swirl cut-outs or small drawings.
Use your imagination and creativity to create a unique and meaningful card. Don't forget add your spring or Easter greeting.

I love homemade cards. Very personal and thoughtful!
Great ideas! Even I (who am all thumbs at crafts) could probably do some of this! A card is so much more special when it is hand-made, with love. Think of the ones you received from your chldren when they were small, and you'll remember that. Treasures, they were.
Sounds fun :)
love it!!
I think homemade cards are the best, and with the prices of store-bought cards, they're the better option all the way around. Very creative ideas!
Great ideas! Thanks for sharing.
Unique ideas once again. I am saving all these cool little tips so that I can use them as projects with my kids.
