I purchased two different models of head light style flashlights, The Rayovac Kids head light in green with striped headbands and the Energizer hands free LED Head Light. In this multiple product review I will share my thoughts and experiences with both models of hands free flashlights to help other shoppers make an informed buying decision.
I thought the Rayovac kids head lamp was really cute, and the adjustable band makes it an ideal size for kids and adults. The green color is vibrant and fun, the head light takes 2 AA batteries, and is adjustable to focus light in different directions. I paid $5.97 for this unit, which was the average price on all similar models.
The Rayovac hands free style head light is sort of heavy, it will give some people a headache to wear this head light for an extended amount of time, also it runs batteries dead quite quickly, and in my experience, this was the downfall of both of our Rayovac hands free head lights. The end that is removable for the batteries is semi flimsy and the clip broke on both head lights, rendering them both useless.
The Energizer hands free LED head light is absolutely fantastic! It is light weight, comfortable to wear and is comfortable to wear for long periods of time. This flash light runs off of 2 lithium coin cell batteries which are included with the flashlight. I also paid $5.97 for this unit, and in my opinion this is a fantastic deal and a great product to have on hand in case of a power outage, for reading in bed, camping or just fun. I would recommend the Energizer hands free LED head light to anyone, this is a fantastic product that is long lasting as all other Energizer products tend to be. The Energizer LED hands free head light is also quite stylish and lightweight.
I hope this multi product review helps other consumers make an informed buying decision when considering purchasing a hands free style flashlight.
