Hanging Up Display Souvenir Golf Flags

Maxwell Payne

Whether you got your souvenir golf flag from a recent golf tournament or had a custom one made, you'll want to proudly display it. Sometimes golfers get the flags as a souvenir from the game and sometimes fans get game memorabilia. The flag might have been used during a game making it even more unique. You don't want to damage the flag materials so proper hanging preparation and application is essential.

Measure the length of one of the short sides of the flag. Note the center point of this measurement.

Measure the same distance on a wall. Hammer a nail at the center point of this distance into the wall.

Tie one end of a length of fishing line into one end hole of the flag. Allow a little slack in the line as you tie the other end to the other end hole. If the golf flag is the type without holes, run a length of fishing line through the sewn-in opening that runs the length of one end. Tie the other two ends of this line together tightly for non-hole containing flags.

Hang the flag from the single nail, centering the fishing line so the flag hangs lengthways downward evenly.
