Hank Baskett Pics: Where to Find the Man Who Took Kendra Wilkerson Away from Hugh Hefner

It appears that Hugh Hefner's loss is Hank Baskett's gain. With his recent engagement to "Girl Next Door" Playboy playmate Kendra Wilkerson, Hank Baskett, wide receiver for the Philadelphia Eagles has made perhaps his greatest catch outside the gridiron.

Yet while most people know of Wilkerson through the ever popular cable TV show, which among other things was lampooned recently in the movie "House Bunny," few people outside Philadelphia Eagles fans, University of New Mexico fans, or football card collectors (of which I am one) know who Baskett, or have Hank Baskett pics.

For those of you that don't know Baskett from Terrell Owens (your loss Eagles fans has been the Cowboys gain), the fortunate football player had an exceptional collegiate career at the University of New Mexico, where he was the Lobos leading receiver in both 2004 and 2005. This four-time all-academic Mountain West Conference receiver enjoyed an exceptional Senior season when he caught 67 passes for over 1,000 yards and 9 touchdowns.

Despite his accomplishments, the 6-4, 220 lb receiver was passed over in the NFL Draft. The Minnesota Vikings though signed him after the Draft, and traded him to the Eagles, where injuries to veteran receivers forced the Eagles to insert Baskett into the line-up. Hank went on to enjoy a great rookie season for Philadelphia, catching 22 passes for 464 yards and 2 touchdowns; his 21.1 yards per catch ranking among the best of the NFL. Though his numbers were down during his sophomore season, Baskett nevertheless became a valuable member of the Eagles special teams. This season, 2008, has seen Baskett play his usual solid role for the Eagles, gaining 278 yards on 19 receptions and 2 TDs, through the first 8 games of the season. The stats augmented by a 90 yard touchdown during the opening game of the season.

Though certainly not the first sports star to hook up with a Playboy playmate (there have been plenty before him), Baskett is certainly the latest.
