Hannity on 'High-Tech Lynching' of Herman Cain: Journalistic Malpractice

Radell Smith
Presidential hopeful Georgia candidate Herman Cain is experiencing a "High-tech lynching" according to some of his supporters, and Fox News' Hannity says that what is happening to Cain is nothing short of "journalistic malpractice."

Two women have alleged that the republican candidate sexually harassed them more than a decade ago, when they were employed by the same organization as Cain, but they offer up no evidence to substantiate their allegations.

Reporting news as a fact without evidence to back it up is considered poor journalism and can lead to slander charges. Doctors who practice poor medicine can get hit with a malpractice suit and Fox News' Hannity thinks press attacks on Hermain Cain of late are exhibiting a similar malpractice of sorts.

"They run with a story, there's no real sourcing," Hannity said.

Details about the incident specifics have not been made available, only the allegations, which causes many to speculate it may be a political effort to derail Pres. Obama's leading contender for the 2012 Presidential race.

Herman Cain appeared to be gaining ground against Obama and offered black voters another candidate to choose from of their color, an opportunity never afforded them historically. Will Cain's presidential aspirations be dashed to the grounds after two white women made unsubstantiated allegations against him?
