Hannity, Sharpton and the State of Politics in the United States

Is the Rap Factor a Political Turning Point?

captdallas2
I am far from being liberal. Then I am not exactly far right either. I am kind of a middle of the road realist. Of all the democrats in the news, the Reverend Al Sharpton is my favorite. It is not that I agree with his politics, I just think the man has some testicular fortitude.

Al Sharpton will actually go on the Fox News Network and debate issues! Shocking! Now Bill Clinton has been interviewed by a Fox News journalist, but he planned a surreal, paranoid attack that was the story instead of letting the story develop. I guess that is understandable, since he is and Oxford grad that never figured out "what the meaning of is is." And people are critical of my grammar?

The Rev is handling most of the democratic public relations while Hillary is dodging questions and Barack is working on getting the bathing suit photos out of the press. Issue wise, there is nothing really new happening. Teddy is pushing the Teddy stuff and the democratic house is pushing bills to get vetoed for brownie points. While this gives many a warm and fuzzy feeling, the net result is gridlock. Gridlock is not a bad thing. The stock market loves gridlock. The less politicians can do, the better off the economy. But back to the Rev.

In his recent debate with Shawn Hannity, the language included in the debate was disconcerting. Any time a political debate involves the terms; bitches, hos, nappy headed, the n-word, and diamond merchants, I start thinking, "Where the Hell am I!" Then when you add in "butt buddies" a favorite term of another democratic potential senate candidate, I start thinking. Will the turning point of this next political contest be, who befriended the most rappers? What will the political rap factor be? Will the most vulgar candidate win? So now that the new stage for political debate has been set, how will the rap version of "Hail to the Chief" sound?

Hey thanks Lorraine! Guys, sound off! This is your chance to state your opinion. If you happen to be an Oxford grad that has an "is" issue, that could be tough. Other than that, have a ball expressing your opinion.

    Love ya,

    Hey thanks Lorraine,

By the way folks, this is an article where you can express your opinion. Unless you are an Oxford grad trying to figure out the is thing is all about(that could get crazy). Sound off! Express your opinion. As for the Reverend Al, I really do like him, don't hold that against me.
