Hansen's Natural Junior Juice Organic 100% Apple Juice

I never have juice on hand. There have been a few times when I have had it to use in my granola but we just prefer to get our nutrients from juice from fresh fruit. However, I have two nieces who tend to be really into juice and so I decided I would keep my eye out for some healthy juice boxes to have on hand for when they visit. I found some juice boxes that had 100% juice in them and they were organic. I thought that this was a great find and exactly what I was hoping to find. One of the flavors was apple juice, a beloved classic and so I got a case of Hansen's Natural Junior Juice Organic 100% Apple Juice.

When I say that I got a case I mean that the package contained four little juice boxes, and these juice boxes were definitely small. They each contained one hundred and twenty-five milliliters, which is almost four and a fourth ounces. Although they were small I still thought that it would be nice to have them on hand. I put them in the fridge so when the time came to drink them they would be nice and refreshing on a hot Summer day. According to the company website they were the perfect portion for children two to six years old, and this was the correct age group for my nieces. I thought that my nieces would enjoy them and that I could feel good about them being one hundred percent juice. The ingredients were filtered water, organic apple concentrate and vitamin C for the Hansen's Natural Junior Juice Organic 100% Apple Juice. In addition to the ingredients there were other things that made me feel good about this juice.

I really liked that the Hansen's Natural Junior Juice Organic 100% Apple Juice didn't have any added sugar and that it didn't have any artificial flavors, artificial colors or preservatives. After looking at the nutrition facts on the side of the juice box I was happy to see that one hundred percent was listed for vitamin C and two percent for iron. I wasn't surprised to see that their was the same amount of sugars as carbohydrates as fruits are high in natural sugars, and I was pleased to see that there was only ten milligrams of sodium in each juice box. They truly were something that I was glad to have gotten and something that I hope my nieces will enjoy. I tasted one of the boxes and although I thought the portion was small for someone like myself I thought that it tasted really, really good. To be honest I don't usually care for apple juice all that much so me liking it is a good sign that the girls will too.

The Hansen's Natural Junior Juice Organic 100% Apple Juice was very, very inexpensive. It only cost me one dollar and fifty-nine cents for the four-pack of juice boxes. Making each little juice box about forty cents. I thought that this was a very fair price, and it wasn't even a sale price. If my nieces did really enjoy the juice it would not be hard to keep it on hand for when they come to visit. I would recommend for anyone who has a child who likes apple juice and juice boxes to try out Hansen's Natural Junior Juice Organic 100% Apple Juice and see how you like it. You can't beat the price, the nutrition is great, the taste is good and the overall juice box is a nice thing to have on hand, I am glad that I do.
