According to the AP, a man in Cleveland, Georgia found something very odd in his swimming pool last Saturday. There were two giant holes in the cover and with further investigation he saw movement in the water. If this had happened to my swimming pool in Cleveland, Tennessee you could bet that it was a deer that caused this and you would be correct. Not the case here....
But what was in the swimming pool in Cleveland, Georgia? Are you ready for this? It was a buffalo that belonged to the neighbors. What kind of a 'weirdo' keeps a buffalo as a pet? The neighbor actually owned three buffalo which all escaped weeks ago. Unfortunately for the buffalo in the pool, the owners decided to put him down once he was successfully removed from the pool.
The other two buffalo had been caught, but there was no comment as to what happened to them since. I don't think these people need to have 'pets' of any kind. The owner of the swimming pool used a video camera to capture the removal of the buffalo. I'm sure his insurance company appreciates that evidence!

Let's hope the Cleveland, Tenn. block party is not invaded by any wayward buffalo or homeless rapists!
Entertaining!
Interesting news!
Excellent news, scary about the homeless guy though!
I thought buffaloes are HUGE?!?! How do one keep 3 in a backyard?
Wow..what a news round-up this was. Interesting stuff..too bad we can't do to the fugitive what the loons did to the buffalo
Buffaloes belong on the open range, not in someone's back yard. What are people thinking?
How do you acquire a buffalo for a pet?
too bad the weather here is so bad we can't even think of traveling at this time but someday I shall visit Cleveland.
